Whether you are
planning a spring, summer or fall fun project with the kids building a
tree house can be a great family adventure.
Plan your design
in order not to damage the tree. While creating this summer retreat it's
necessary not to kill off the tree.
Here are some
tips in order to get started...
No nails or
screws should be placed into the tree
Use a self
supporting ladder or knotted rope in order to gain access to the tree
house.
The supporting
framework of the tree house should be be tied or lashed to limbs using
thick rope.
Construct the
house in the lower third or the tree.
Test walls and
rails often to make sure they are safe.
Remember to
protect the tree along with you family's safety.
