How to Find the Right Part to Repair Your Kenmore Washer

When it comes to repairing a washer it’s pretty easy to discover what is wrong with your machine.

First thing is to know what your washer is or isn’t doing. For example in our case the washer was clicking off right before the rinse cycle.  So I went to YouTube and typed in my problem and discovered that the part I was looking for was possibly a Washer lid Switch. The next step was to confirm it.

In order to do this I needed to know the model number of my washer. That was the easy part. You can find your model number when you open up the lid to washer and find it on the plate anchored on the machine.

Model Number of the Washer

If you are like me and you save all your repair manuals it is also on the outside of the manual. But it’s best to confirm it on the machine. This way you will be sure to order the right parts for your washer or any other appliance that you are trying to repair.
