Adding Emblems and Stripes to a Camaro

Driving a Camaro around in the summer is a fun adventure and adding a little more chrome to your vehicle makes it more exciting! When we first purchased our GEN5 Camaro we wanted to add a little something to it inside and out to make it our own. The additions that we made using items really make the car’s appearance even better in my opinion.

Step 1 – Choosing the Right Items for your Car

Don’t go overboard when deciding to spruce up your vehicle. Instead look for ideas from other car enthusiasts and layout a plan on what you want to do. For example, we wanted to add a small pin stripe to the tires, an emblem to both front quarter panels, and a bit of detail on the inside of the car. Some suggestions to look are on Pinterest, blogs, Facebook, etc.

Step 2 – Emblems and Trim Choices

It’s always best to try something easy to get started. When we decided to add to our Camaro we started with an emblem on each side of the car, some chrome trim on the side, red trim around the tires and a Camaro Emblem to the dash. Take a look at the pictures below to see what we did to our GEN5 Camaro and to get ideas for your project.

The Inside of the car was missing something too so we added the Camaro SS Emblem inside the car.

Step 3 – The Best Place to Order your Car parts and Accessories

When it comes to finding the right part for your car it can be a challenge to find everything in one place.

Step 5 – Placing items on Your Car

The old saying goes measure twice before you place something on. This is the same when preparing to place an emblem on your car. In order not to ruin you paint job be sure to properly follow the instructions and put your emblems exactly where you want them. Time and patience is the key when it comes to getting this correct.

Always measure and mark where you want your item to go. Before placing it on make sure to clean the area and remove any debris. Figure out where the emblem will look the best and try it out before making it permanent. You can always change it if you don’t like where you thought you originally wanted it to be.
