Yarn Suggestions

5 Skeins of Brown and 2 Skeins of Orange (as shown) choose the best colors for your clubs – Make sure it’s a worsted weight yarn that is durable and easy to wash.  You can try a cotton yarn but we’re not sure how it will hold up with this pattern

Whether you’re new to crochet or experienced, we have thousands of free crochet patterns and inspiration for you to choose from.

Crochet Hook – Size J (10 6mm)

Gauge – 5 SC to 2″

Starting at the top with Brown Yarn – Ch 2, work 6 sc in ring.

Row 2:  2 sc in each sc. Mark beg of rows.

Row 3 & 4:  Inc 6 sc evenly around. Work 5 more rows on 24 sc. Dec 2 sc evenly on each of the next rows.

#3 (2-1) Clubs Only work 5 (9-13) more* rows.

All Clubs Drop Brown Yarn, * with Orange yarn work 2 rows, with Brown Yarn work 2 rows *

#4 (3-2) Clubs Only repeat from * to * 3 (2-1) times

All Clubs with Brown Yarn – work 3 more rows. Sl st in next stitch, fasten off. ** Sew metal or plastic ring to each top. With Brown Yarn – ch 24″ , fasten off, draw through rings and hold tog at center. Trim with tassel. Make large tassel for joining.
