The puff quilt pattern will vary from traditional quilt methods that you may be used to making. So be sure to read all of the instructions before you start on your puff quilt pattern. I would suggest reading the entire pattern in order to get a sense of the assembly process if you have never made a puff quilt before.
It’s a good idea to select your pattern before choosing your fabric and layout that you want to create. You are simply stitching blocks together and stuffing each one of them separately to make a puff quilt.

This unique puff quilt is set on point and alternates puff squares with quilted flat squares. It is designed to use up your fabric and batting scraps and is primarily assembled as you go, which means it’ll clean up your sewing room and come together quickly! Finished size: 39″ x 50 1/2″
Squares will range from 4″ to 5″ depending on the quilt pattern. You can make anywhere from 100 or more squares if it’s a baby quit or a full size quilt project.
Gather around the 5″ square or make darts in the middle of two of the sides to fit the 4″ square. Place the two squares right side together and baste together at three of the edges (one side is left open to insert the stuffing).
Distribute the Stuffing Evenly. When all squares are finished you can sew them together.
